Role: Creative Director  |  Client: Atlanta Public Schools
Overview
This was a quick, fun project where I led the creative direction and visual rebrand for Atlanta Public Schools' Power Up summer program. It required developing a design system that would work across multiple platforms while maintaining brand consistency in English and Spanish.

Design Challenges
•Transform the Power Up brand into an energetic, summer-focused visual identity that would appeal to parents of K-12 students.
•Considerations included bilingual design requirements, multi-format adaptability, and tight production timelines.

Creative Strategy
Brand Refresh: Working with APS's established brand elements, I developed a comprehensive design system and flexible framework that worked everywhere - from yard signs to web banners. The color palette followed APS guidelines and included summer elements to inspire parents. Every design choice helped build a campaign that felt fun and focused on academics.
Design System:  I built a versatile system that worked across multiple formats, which included digital and print assets, a large format design, and static graphics for social media, newsletters, and video.
Bilingual Design: It was important to create flexible templates that could handle English and Spanish text naturally and keep the same visual impact.
Technical Specifications
I managed a range of technical needs across different formats. Print work required high-res PDFs with proper bleeds and color profiles and digital assets were optimized for various platforms.
Production Management
My role involved coordinating 13 unique design pieces - everything from digital graphics to large-format printing. I set up file systems and naming conventions that kept everything organized and on track. This made it simple to manage the different file types that were needed.
Skills Demonstrated
Creative direction, brand development, print and digital production, bilingual design strategy, and project timeline management.
